We kept busy in September with various projects and activities. We were surprised to find LOTS of peaches on a tree in our new backyard. The kids helped Dad pick them from the roof and the ground.
Clara and I went on a date one day and had milkshakes at the Burger Stop.
Grandma Packer, Grandma Gardner, and Shari came Labor Day weekend. Everyone but Grandma Gardner and I had a fun day at Lagoon. I enjoyed spending a day with Grandma all to myself and not hanging out in the hot, hot sun while pregnant.
The dark 80's fireplace drove me crazy so I decided to whitewash it. I really like how it turned out.
It was fun to have a get together at our house on September 9th with Barry's 3 sisters and brother Bryant who all live in Utah. We loved having them over!
We attempted potty training Sawyer for 3 days until I gave up. It's hard to argue with a stubborn kid who yells, "NEVER!" every time you ask him to go potty.
Clara got to tour the conference center for activity days.
Eating cookies and milk.
We were so blessed to have a bunch of ward members come help us clear out bushes in our backyard. It took them 3 hours to do what would have taken Barry weeks of work to accomplish.
Quinton was able to join a soccer team with some boys from our ward. He did a great job.
Clara and I went to her first women's conference at the conference center. It was pretty neat once I finally found a parking spot!
Grandma Packer was super nice and got us a season pass to the aquarium. The kids love it there. It was really neat to feed the parakeets and the kids like the little fish that attach to your skin and nibble on it. (While I sit in the background shuddering.)
We were able to go to Oakley for a visit one weekend. The kids were super excited Grandma Jenks still had some raspberries in her garden.
