New School Year

This summer just flew by! I can't believe it's already time to start school. They all just look so old!

It was still hot enough the day before the first day of school to jump on our new square trampoline in the sprinkler.

Leaving in the morning.

Our new house is only a couple blocks from the elementary school, so we are excited to walk every day.

Aldous Lake

The Saturday before school started, we had one last hurrah and went on a 1.5 mile hike to Aldous Lake. It was beautiful. And though there weren't as many frogs as we were expecting, the kids still each got to catch one or two. We went with Shari and Jeni's families.

Summer 2015

Our summer was jam-packed with fun activities. We got to stay in Rigby and Grandma and Grandpa Packer's house for a month! The kids played in the sprinkler a lot and Sawyer had his own little pool.

We got to see cousins Adison and Daxton and make cupcakes with them.

Sawyer LOVED playing outside with Grandpa Packer on the swing and the slide. He would cry if I ever tried to take him away from Grandpa.

We went to the 4th of July parade in Rexburg and the fireworks in Idaho Falls. The kids made fun firework shirts with Grandma.

Grandma Packer is such a good sport to sleep out on the balcony with her grandkids.

Playing at Rigby Lake

Clara lost her first tooth!

Quinton got a bump on his head

Barry caught a fish

And Sawyer caught a nap!

We were at church in Rigby one Sunday when Quinton and Clara came up to me after primary saying they had BOTH lost a tooth during class! How does that even happen? The Tooth Fairy is going to go broke.

We had fun at the Rigby East Stake Pioneer Day celebration at Scout Hollow. Until it rained, then we had to run out of there!

We went huckleberry picking at Green Canyon and actually got quite a bit this  year.

We went to Oakley for Jeran's homecoming talk. Sawyer really liked the refreshments.

Here we are in our new home. Sawyer is kind of a messy eater!

The boys were anxious for those cookies to finally get done baking.

While I stayed at my parents' house, I went a little crazy and decided to refinish a table and chairs for our new house. I found this table that needed a whole lot of love, stripping, sanding, painting, sanding, paint, sanding, protecting, and finally came out with a nicely finished project. Thanks to my family for helping me get it done!
