Reflections

Warren and Sawyer both created an art piece for the Reflections contest this year. The theme was "Show your voice." They both did a great job! Warren even moved up to the next level.

 

November

November was a busy month, but we tried to sneak in some family time. We rented a cabin at a church site called Ben Lomond and spent the night eating and playing games.

We went to the rec center a couple times to play basketball or swim.

Clara was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.

Warren sang in the Veteran's Day Program at school.

Clara sang at an assisted living center with the young women.

I went to an author night at the library.

I took the younger boys to a Jazz game, which was a ton of fun.

Callie visited with Carolyn for a couple days while Colby checked out Weber State.

Quinton took the test and now has his driver's permit!

We spent one night at the Christkindlmarkt touring the German shops and eating fun food.

 

Thanksgiving in Rigby

We went to Idaho for Thanksgiving this year and stayed at Shari's house. Steve was at my mom's house with all of his kids except Rachel. Our kids love playing video games and dungeons and dragons with Steven and Ben. 

We celebrated Shari's birthday on Wednesday. 

Thursday morning we ran the Race to Feed the Hungry 5K in Idaho Falls with Ben and Anna. It was cold, but fun. We ate Thanksgiving dinner in Jeni and Nolan's cool new Centre on their property. It was a little chilly, but we had plenty of food to warm us up. Clara made an amazing pie! 

The next day we celebrated Mackayla's upcoming wedding with a bridal shower which included a mac and cheese bar, macadamia cookies, and macarons. Clara and Sophie were dressed up in beautiful TP bridal gowns. 

We had planned to go to Oakley on Saturday, but a couple of us came down sick so we had to go home instead.

 

Family Pictures

I made everyone get dressed up for a few pictures for our Christmas card before Thanksgiving dinner. It was a beautiful evening on Jeni and Nolan's property.

 

Quinton Turns 15!

Quinton is getting old! We had fun celebrating with him this year. We played football as a family and had cake and presents. Then the next week he hiked the Narrows in Zion National Park with Barry, Charles, Clayton, Colby, Bryant, and Connor. They stayed mostly warm and dry, but the water was a little too tempting and the boys ended up walking through some rapids for "fun."
