Some random things from July:

Clara and the YW decorated the sidewalk of a police officer in our ward.

Quinton, Clara, and I saw a Harry Potter movie while Barry and the boys watched Sonic and they had the entire theater to themselves!

We went to Germany for one of our foreign dinners.

Then just some other fun stuff like snow cones and strawberry rhubarb bars with ingredients from our garden.

 

Summer Fun

While Barry and Quinton were on their big hike, we tried to have fun at home. Danielle, our neighbor and Clara's friend from Pocatello, actually stayed with us for a couple days. We took her to Cherry Hill and the park and Barnes and Noble (their favorite place). After she left, we also went to the zoo and the splash park.

 

Bear Lake Reunion

We had an amazing time at our reunion in Bear Lake with the Summers side. We don't get together very often, but when we do, we have a blast. We took family pictures, played at the beach, played a ton of family games, went boating, ate food, went to the Pickleville Playhouse, and ate raspberry shakes. We had never been to Bear Lake before, but we'll definitely be going back soon!

 

Mrs. Cavanaugh's

We had a little time before we needed to go to Bear Lake, so we took the opportunity to finally tour Mrs. Cavanaugh's Chocolate Factory. It was so amazing especially to see the lady who hand-dips thousands of chocolates. She did it so perfect and fast! We watched a video about chocolate and had some samples too. Yum!

 

Overnighter with Cousins

Clara, Warren, and Sawyer had a blast hiking for an overnighter with Barry, Amy, Sarah, and a few other kids who don't get to go on the big brothers' hike. They went up the Ruth Lake Trailhead and camped at Jewel Lake. They all did a great job and made some fun memories!
