April

Here are some of our April adventures. On April Fool's Day I presented the kids with what they've always wanted, a Nintendo Switch. Haha. It was just a light switch. They didn't think that was too funny. I made up for it when I gave them the real thing on my birthday.
The boys made a fort. They melted crayons on rocks. The kids slept in the backyard. We had video calls with friends and family. We ate and ran and ate. We attempted to study scriptures (that's Sawyer and Miles on Barry's lap).

Dates

The kids were having a hard time always getting along during quarantine, so we decided to take them all out on dates  to get a treat with just them and mom and dad. It was pretty special to have time with them one-on-one. It's also nice to have babysitters at home! Hopefully we can do it more in the future. (We totally missed getting a picture with Warren, so I put in a cute one of him whittling a stick.)

Cross E Ranch

One night for a fun activity we went on a drive through Cross E Ranch to see the baby animals. They were so cute, especially the goats!

Heather's Birthday

I went running with Quinton and Clara on my birthday and we found this sign in someone else's yard, so they took a picture of me. Haha. We celebrated with a hike to a waterfall in Ogden and Olive Garden for dinner. They did a fun scavenger hunt for my presents!

Warren Turns 8!

Warren had his 8th birthday! We tried to make it a fun day for him with breakfast in bed, fishing, presents, and a surprise jump house! He is such a warm-hearted kid. He's been growing like crazy and starting to read a lot! He's funny and sweet and we wouldn't be a complete family without him.

British Dinner

I thought it would be fun to do some themed dinners on Sunday for something to look forward to. Our first one was a British dinner. We had bangers and mash, English muffin bread, and Victoria sponge cake. It was delicious and fun! I also made the kids watch a video to learn about Great Britain.

Running

We've been running quite a bit to prepare for the Revel Rockies Race. With everything in quarantine, we've had to stick together as a family to do it. I'm proud of Clara for getting so many miles in!
*The race was later canceled, so we stopped training about halfway through.

Sunday Activities

Sundays at home have been nice. We have the sacrament with a short lesson and spend the day recuperating. We go on walks and play in the backyard. Warren and Sawyer did a primary scavenger hunt. We even did a puzzle!
