It was nice to get out more in May. For Memorial Day weekend, we met with Sarah's and Amy's families at a park for a picnic. Shari came for a visit and took Sawyer to the aquarium with them. It was nice to just get outside. The rainbow picture has a story behind it. Barry and I have been working on being physically fit this year. One night I really needed to get a run in and didn't really feel like it. I headed out anyway, and the first half mile was super windy and I could see a storm coming in. My thoughts were, "Oh, great. Just perfect. A storm." Then I turned a corner and Bam! A beautiful rainbow greeted me (my cell phone picture doesn't do it justice). It made me realize life might have rough moments, but there are tender mercies if we look for them.

Grandma Visits
We just love it when Grandma comes to visit. She stayed Saturday night so Barry and I could go on a date to Javier's and Lagoon. The kids love hanging out with her. Then she and I went to Music and The Spoken Word Sunday morning at Temple Square

Farmington Station
Barry took the older boys on a father/son campout so Clara, Miles, and I had a fun evening at Farmington Station. Clara loved Blaze Pizza, the fountains, and eating an ice cream sandwich as big as her head.

New Park with Friends
On Barry's actual birthday, the boys and I took him lunch at work. Then we met Erin Cook and her kids at a new park in Bountiful that is pretty fun. It's near a stream and has fun playground equipment. Grandma Packer even stopped by for a minute to say hi on her way to a conference.

Clara Bakes
Clara has been unstoppable in the kitchen this year. She can now bake with very little assistance. Here she is making a mug cake, but she can also make cake, cookies, cupcakes, and more. She just follows the recipe and even cleans up after herself. I'm super proud of her abilities!

Barry's 35th Birthday!
Our favorite guy turned 35 this year! He got a new chainsaw, gummy candy kabobs, and a trip to Lagoon to celebrate! We sure love him.

Miles 5 Months
Miles is growing fast! This month he has been rolling over, eating his toes, grabbing things, and tried rice cereal. We just love him.

Shari Graduates!
The first weekend in May we headed to Idaho to celebrate with Shari. She survived two years in her master's program at ISU to become a school counselor. She starts her first job at an elementary in Rigby this fall. She is amazing!
It was fun to see Grandma Packer and meet her fiancee, Don.
Miles wasn't too happy with the crowded room at the graduation dinner.
Clara and I also went to see Mackayla dance for her senior recital. She did a great job! She even danced with her dad, Nolan, for a number.
