Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year. Quinton was an old man, Clara a cat lady, and Warren, Sawyer, and Miles dressed up as Luigi, Mario, and Yoshi. There was no school the Friday after and Barry took the day off, so it was nice to just relax. The kids had fun at the church carnival, carving pumpkins, and trick-or-treating. Miles ran for quite awhile, but eventually just enjoyed sitting in the wagon eating candy. The kids got sooo much candy. Quinton's bag weighed about 9 pounds!

October

I love October. The cooler temperatures and changing leaves make me happy. Clara and I went out to Olive Garden for a date one day before the women's session of conference. Miles was struggling to attend nursery without mom or dad there until he took this Elmo doll Shari gave him. After that he's been going pretty well. It's cute to see him carry stuff like that around. I was called to be in the primary presidency as the second counselor. The weather was nice until it snowed just before Halloween. Miles loved playing in the snow. I also went to help Quinton's grade with Harry Potter Day at school. He has some fun teachers and classmates. 

Baer Creek Hike

We went on a short hike up Baer Creek. We love having beautiful trails so close to home. Exploring in nature is the best!

More Frightmares

For Saturday of Fall Break, we went to Frightmares with Grandma and then swimming later at South Davis Rec Center.

Fall Break Fun

Friday of Fall Break, we crammed in as much fun as we could. For fun activities Sawyer chose a Sweet's Candy Factory tour. Then we went to a bounce house place courtesy of Warren. We ate at King's Buffet for lunch and then saw a movie at Clark Planetarium. The kids loved the exhibits there. 

Corn Maze

We told the kids for Fall Break this year they could each pick a fun activity. Quinton picked the corn maze. Grandma Deckerand Johnathan even joined us. We went to Gibson's Green Acres in Ogden. Even though the wind picked up and the temperatures dropped, it was hard to pull the kids away from all the fun activities.

Fishing at Farmington Pond

We kicked off Fall Break with a fishing trip at Farmington Pond. All the kids caught some fish and had a fun time.

Soccer

We were all soccer all the time for six weeks with three boys playing this season. It was Sawyer's first time playing and he loved it! All the boys had friends on their teams, which makes playing fun. Miles started getting into it too.
