June

What a crazy busy summer!
Clara, Warren, and Sawyer did an amazing job at swim lessons the first two weeks.
Sawyer seemed to lose teeth left and right. Eating corn on the cob was a little tricky!
Miles got paid $50 one day for participating in a study trying to open packages.
We went to Get Air (the kids earned coins by being productive).
Most of us are training for the Goose Creek Runoff. Luna likes to help Clara with her stretching.
And Warren shows just how exhausting all the fun can be.

Camping at Cinnamon Creek

Barry found out we can book camping at church campgrounds for not very much money, so we went for one night to Cinnamon Creek Camp near Logan with Amy and her family. It was a super nice campground (if you didn't think too hard about bears, cougars, and rattlesnakes) with a little creek by it. We went on a hike the next morning up to a mine. It sure wore everyone out! We celebrated with Hokulia and COVID shots for Quinton and Clara after we got home.

Warren Goes to Day Camp

Warren was able to go to day camp for a primary activity at Camp Kiesel. He had so much fun shooting guns and arrows, canoeing, running the obstacle course, and more!

Girls' Weekend

Hooray for girls' weekends with my mom and sisters! And Mackayla and Clara this time, too. Shari and my mom went to Lagoon for awhile with the kids before Jeni came and we created some beautiful manicures on ourselves. The next day we played pickleball with the kids before taking off to eat and shop. That night we went and saw Les Misérables at the Hale Center Theater, which was so amazing! I've never seen a production like it. We stayed at our favorite hotel that has an omelet station in the mornings.
After they left, I took Clara and two of her friends to a Narnia dance production in the park that Laura Wood in our ward performed in. It was really neat! I didn't get a picture of us there, though.

Grandma Turns 70!

This special lady turned 70 and everyone came to Idaho to celebrate! We had dinner just the adults at Sizzler Friday night and threw a party for her at Krupp Scout Hollow on Saturday. My mom is such an amazing lady, it was fun to celebrate her! It was nice to be with all of my siblings and nieces and nephews as well. Our younger boys really look up to their older cousins. Clara had fun assembling Grandma's fairy garden with Sophie.

Sawyer Turns 7!

Sawyer is growing up! Barry and I took him out for a birthday lunch at Our Kitchen Cafe and he had pancakes. Then we celebrated with his first ever friend party. We were supposed to go swimming, but the temperature dropped 20 degrees that day so we had a sort of Lego party instead and played games, made pizza, and watched the Lego Movie. The next day we went to the Lego store as a family and stopped at Jungle Retreat on our way to Rigby. Sawyer likes to tease everyone a lot, but he has a gentle heart and is super smart. Our family wouldn't be the same without his sweet spirit.

School's Out

Clara's expression shows more how I feel about summer break than they do, haha. This was her on field day. I helped with musical pies that day and got a delightful sunburn on my feet.
The other pictures are from the last day of school. It was an interesting year with Fridays at home and masks throughout (except the last 3 days!), but the kids handled it really well. They had amazing teachers. It was fun to see Clara at her 6th grade graduation. She'll be joining Quinton at the junior high next year, which makes me a little sad. It's hard to stay little once they leave elementary.
