November

November was full of fun.
Miles went to his friend Jimmy's baptism.

Things got crazy eating a pomegranate one night!

We hiked Wild Rose Trail because the weather was crazy nice.

Luna definitely has favorites.

Barry, Quinton, and Warren camped at Strawberry Reservoir and went fishing.

I made this sourdough cinnamon star bread.

Quinton got his wisdom teeth out! It was rough for a few days, but not too bad.

Clara was in a music video done by a lady in our stake who writes music. It was beautiful. The song is on YouTube, it's called "Fear Not, He Is Born" by Anna Mahas Williams.

Thanksgiving in Rigby

Thanksgiving in Rigby was so fun this year. We ran a 5K in Rexburg, played football, ate tons of food, shopped, and did some crafts.

Girls' Weekend in Bear Lake

I was lucky enough to spend two nights with my friends at Missy's parents' cabin in Bear Lake. It was such a lovely break before the craziness of December. I love the ladies in my neighborhood!

Reflections

Sawyer and Miles both got top awards for their entries into the school Reflections contest this year. The theme was "I belong." Sawyer drew a design and then burned it with the laser cutter onto a piece of wood. It was a cool picture of the mountains because he feels like he belongs there. Miles wrote a spectacular story about a squirrel that I'll attach below.

Quinton Turns 18!

We have been parents for 18 years! 😮
It's been a crazy ride, but I wouldn't trade this awesome kid for anything. He is strong, smart, and incredibly fun to be around. I'm very proud of the man he's becoming. I'm trying not to get too sentimental - he still has a few months of asking me to make mac & cheese for him - but having adult kids is starting to feel very real.
We celebrated with a pizza lunch at the seminary, a giant Oreo cookie, and Barry and I went with him to watch the Jurassic World movie. We sure love Quinton and I know he's going to do amazing things!

Burley Temple Open House

When Barry was growing up in Oakley, he had to travel about 3 hours to Boise to go to the temple. Then one was built in Twin Falls about 45 minutes away. And now there is one only 20 minutes away in Burley! The open house happened to land on DeVaughn's birthday, so it turned into a big Jenks celebration. It was pretty special.

Family Pictures

Clara needed to take some portraits for her photography class so we went to Nicholl's Trail and took some of everyone. I sure love these cutie patooties!
