November

Here are some of the things we were up to in November.
Our maple tree in the front yard sure gave us lots of leaves to play in!

Making cookies with Grandma

This kid FINALLY started using the potty! Hooray! Gave us almost a full diaper-free month until having to start all over with a new baby.

Clara and I went on a special date to see Disney on Ice in November. It was amazing! I hope we get to go again.

Primary program day! I may or not have paid $1 in courage money to one child so he would sit with his class. But he also talked into the microphone for the first time ever when he gave his talk in primary. Hooray!

We were able to go to Rigby for Thanksgiving, which also happened to be Shari's birthday! I was too pregnant to do much, but Barry took Quinton and Clara out Black Friday shopping. I went for lunch and a movie the next day with my mom, sisters, and Adison and Mackayla.

Clara got to see Danielle whose grandmother lives near us. They're always devastated to leave each other!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we met up with Charles and Carolyn at Temple Square for a little while to see the lights. It was crowded, but nice and warm.

On November 30, we went on one last family outing to the Christkindlmarkt at This is the Place Heritage Park. They had a fun German Christmas market set up. We rode a "train" to get to it and it was fun to see all the Christmas things. They also had a lantern parade.

Quinton Turns 10!

Quinton turned 10! Hard to believe we've been parents so long, and as our oldest the poor kid gets the brunt of our parenting mistakes, but we sure love him! He's smart and funny and has such a good heart. We celebrated at Pizza Pie Cafe and the Classic Fun Center with arcade games. Quinton and Clara also did the anti-gravity course over our heads while we were there. Sarah and her family came over for dinner and cake. Quinton and Clara also got their very first pets - guinea pigs!
