December

December was crazy busy with holiday festivities, birthdays, and the end of the semester. We also managed to fit in a trip to the German Christmas Market, the ward Christmas party, Warren's band concert, a trip for Miles and me to see Jeni and John in the Christmas Carol, Miles's basketball games, and a service project filling pantry packs.

*Mostly* Happy Holidays

Christmas was a little different this year. A nasty stomach bug ran through our house, Quinton and Miles had it the week before Christmas, and Warren and I were sick the week of. Being a puking mom on Christmas Eve is probably at the very top of my list of things I never want to do again. Quinton, Barry, and I actually had a bit of a cold, too.
Luckily we recovered after a few days and we were able to go up to Rigby to visit family. We played games, went bowling, and ate at Pizza Pie Cafe.

Clara Turns 16!

Clara has grown up so much this year. She has a huge friend group at Davis now and she stays really busy with jump rope, school, church, and friends. We're super proud of how hard she works and love having her in our family.
On her birthday, Barry and I surprised her with a swim in the Homestead Crater, a natural hot spring in a big dome, cave area. It was a really neat experience. Then we had a little pizza party the next day after school since it was early out for winter break.

Winters

The Winter dance was girls' choice and Clara asked her friend Connor to go for her first official date. Quinton was asked by his friend, Brooke. We even hosted Clara's group for dinner, though I don't think we'll do that for such a big group ever again in our small house. I made them pose for a picture and they were only slightly offended that it looked like they were each others' dates. Haha.

Miles Turns 7!

We celebrated Miles a little bit in Oakley, but did some more at home too. We took him out for Mexican food on our parent date and to the aquarium with his siblings. He was even brave enough to let the little fish nibble at his feet!
Miles is super smart and always asking questions because he likes to know EVERYTHING. He's also very loving and fun to be around. I just can't believe the baby of the family is getting so old, though.

November

Some November highlights were fishing, ice cream, Sawyer's amazing Veteran's Day program and a field trip to the water treatment plant, Reflections for Sawyer and Miles, Miles finishing all of his books for Battle of the books, and Barry taking Warren and Sawyer to a BYU game.
