Sawyer

Here are some random pictures of this little guy. He's got such a funny little personality. We're still trying to figure him out! He loves his brothers and sister and communicates in his own way.

For a while he was always crawling with a sock or a toy in his mouth like a little puppy.

He didn't appreciate Clara's beautification one day.

The sleeping baby stage just doesn't last long enough!

This is the smile that warms my heart.

Camping at 1000 Springs

The last weekend of April Barry took Quinton and Clara to 1000 Springs in Hagerman to camp overnight with his Uncle Bob and some of their family, including Shane and Ashlee. Warren, Sawyer, and I went up the next morning (it was cold!) to join them. We had a campfire, a potluck, and went swimming. We had one exciting moment when Warren got so close to the fire that it singed the hair on his head. Luckily he was okay! We had a great time.

Heather's 29th Birthday!

I had a wonderful birthday this year. Barry and the kids really know how to spoil me! I got breakfast in bed, cheesecake all the way from the Cheesecake Factory, chocolates,  jewelry, and more. I also got to relax and we got some projects done around the house.

Warren's 3rd Birthday!

Warren turned three this year! He is growing up so fast! He got to watch cartoons while he ate his waffles and this was his first year popping balloons to get his "dollars." Warren is such a sweetheart. Most of the time he's really easy going and wants to please those around him. When he is mischevious, he has the cutest smile that gets him out of almost anything.

He had a tractor ice cream cake (that he didn't like so much) and opened his presents. This year I wanted to make him something so he got a busy board with latches and switches and a bunch of other things. It turned out pretty cute. He was sooo excited about his birthday this year. He kept asking about it every day leading up to it.

That afternoon we went to Boise to the Discovery Center. It's a really neat place with TONS of exhibits that the kids can interact with. The first picture is of Warren watching a tube suck up a scarf to spit out near the ceiling. We were there for awhile!

We had dinner at Ann Morrison Park. Warren and Sawyer LOVED the swings. It was a wonderful day!

Changes Ahead...

Some big news lately in our family is that Barry accepted a new job in Pocatello that starts in August. This will be a huge change for us as we'll have to sell our house and get everything ready to move. So we've been doing a lot around the house getting it on the market and starting to look for a new home, but with all of that we still have our everyday activities to keep us busy.

Here is Sawyer finally deciding to stand up at about 11 months old. He sure does crawl fast, though!

I tried to get Warren to take a nap one day and he wouldn't so I just let him go play. Then at dinner time he crawled into my lap and was out in an instant. It sure is fun to snuggle with him every once in awhile, though.

Here the kids are playing dress-up in the backyard with Zannah and Max Dorsey.

Playing next door with Courtney and Chad.

A trip to the dentist. Warren FINALLY let the assistant brush his teeth a little. We're slowly making progress on that front.

Barry took the older kids to Anderson Ranch Reservoir one evening on Jesse Jaramillos boat. They LOVED it.

They had a BBQ lunch day at school so we went to visit Quinton.

Isn't he just the best Daddy?

Triston's Baptism

[Add picture of Sawyer driving] On April 11, we went back to Rexburg to see Triston get baptized. He's such a great kid!

And we got to have another Easter egg hunt!

Warmer Weather

We love Spring around here, we just wish the pleasant days lasted longer before summer blazes in. Here we are at U-Swirl in Boise one day. The kids really know how to load the toppings onto their frozen yogurt!

Working in the garden and playing in the sandbox

We went to the park one evening for fun. Sawyer loved it!

Here the kids are being silly with our neighbors Courtney and Chad.
