April

For whatever reason, I didn't get many extra pictures in April. Probably because I got laser eye surgery on the 14th and couldn't see much for awhile, haha. Jeni came down when I got my surgery and played and played with the kids. Miles loved having so much attention!
Barry went to a couple track meets to watch his students which is where he took this gem of Miles with a slice of pizza. He loves to go wherever Dad goes.
Quinton ran track for the Jr. High this year and really liked it! He ran the 800 in a couple meets and the 400 relay.
April is just my favorite, though, because of the beautiful weather. Seeing all the blossoms come out and new life springing forth brings a lot of hope and excitement.

Clara AKA Julia Child

Clara worked hard on her wax museum presentation this year. She researched Julia Child, wrote a report, and memorized a speech to give to a zillion different people in one night. She did a wonderful job!

Heather Gets Older

I had a delightful day turning 35 this year. I was very spoiled with gifts, ate at Tucanos with Barry, and we went on a hike to a waterfall. Makes my heart happy! Oh, and I also got PRK laser surgery on my eyes so no more glasses or contacts for me! Yippee!

Warren Turns 9!

My sweet Warren turned 9 this year! He is certainly acting older, but he is still sweet and kind and likes to have fun. We celebrated with a friend party which included mining Minecraft guys, popping balloons on the trampoline, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, and a scavenger hunt.
The next day he got breakfast in bed, Chinese lunch with Mom and Dad, and went fishing after his soccer game. On his actual birthday we had some fun playing soccer as a family.
I also threw in a picture of Warren sleeping in a hat he inherited from Grandpa Jenks. We found it tied tightly around his neck and he was super hot so we took it off of him, but it was pretty cute.

Easter and Conference Weekend in Rigby

We spent a really fun weekend in Rigby the first weekend of April. Barry and I spent Thursday night on a date in Idaho Falls and walked around the greenbelt on Friday and did a little shopping. It was a nice break.
We also explored around Krupp Scout Hollow a little bit, which was still full of ice from the winter castles that happen there. The rest of the weekend we listened to conference, dyed eggs, had an egg hunt, and enjoyed being with family. It was fun to come home to a nice little service someone did for us leaving an egg hunt in our front yard.
