Warren Turns 2!

Has it really been two years already? My little man is growing up! His birthday was on Easter this year so we had a double celebration in Rigby with family. Grandma Packer made him a train cake and everyone spoiled him lots and lots.

He especially loved eating the candy off of the trains.

Easter!

We had a fun Easter this year. The kids just love going on egg hunts. Warren even got into coloring the eggs this time around.

We spent that weekend in Rigby at Grandma & Grandpa Packer's house. Their egg hunts never disappoint!

Getting all three of these kiddos to look at the camera at the same time (let alone smile) is nearly impossible. So we just take what we can get!

This little man is particularly stubborn sometimes. But it did happen to be his birthday so I guess he was entitled to do what he wanted.

Spring Break

For Spring Break this year we headed first to Rigby for a few days and then met Barry in Oakley for the weekend. The kids spent as much time as possible playing with their cousins. They especially love playing on the trampoline. Even Warren got into the spirit of things!

We had a fun lunch at Arctic Circle with Jeni and Shari.

Friday night we were able to be there for the rededication of their cousin JD's grave in Idaho Falls. It was a very special way to celebrate what would have been his 8th birthday.

We had one last surprise Sunday morning in Oakley when we woke up to a world covered in snow. It felt a lot like Christmas until it melted that afternoon.

Fishing at Crane Falls

Barry is passing his love of fishing onto all of the kids. He tries to go as often as I will let him. We took a family trip to Crane Falls on March 15th and even though the fish weren't biting, the kids had a blast exploring and throwing rocks in the water.

Enjoying a New Year

After the holidays, January and February are usually pretty quiet and laid back. We settle back into a routine and try to stay warm when the days are cold. Here are a few random pictures.

Clara in her Christmas dress from Grandma Packer.

One day when we actually had perfect snowman snow the kids went out and played for hours (not Warren, he wasn't a fan). It all melted pretty fast, though!

Here's one of our first pics of our new little guy on the way. He's due on June 17th!

Warren is usually pretty careful about not getting dirty when he eats, but sometimes a treat gets the better of him.

Valentine's Day heart pizzas for dinner!

A wild game of ring around the rosie.

Handsome little guy ready for church.

Finding worms in the garden together.

Warren is quite the little artist. He tries really hard to match what his brother and sister are doing.

New Years Hike

Quinton and Clara got their own hydration packs for Christmas this year and it was so nice on New Year's Day that their dad took them on a little hike just outside of town. They definitely love the great outdoors!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas was great this year. We spent a few days in Rigby with family and then headed to Oakley on Christmas Eve to spend the rest of the week. Barry and I celebrated our 7th anniversary while we were there. We also went sledding in Rexburg with Shari and Barry's niece Kimber and her husband Davin.

Clara

Warren was not a fan of the snow at all. He cried if we set him down on it, so I sat in the car with him most of the time. I'm sure next year will be better!

Making sugar cookies at Grandma Packer's.

Here are all of the kids snoozing at the slumber party. They were exhausted every night after playing together.

Our favorite Santa came to visit on Christmas Eve before we left for Oakley.

Warren wasn't too impressed with Santa, though, and tried his best to get away.

The nativity at Grandma Jenks' house on Christmas Eve. We also kept with tradition and went caroling that night.

The kids slept in until eight Christmas morning, but they were excited to start on presents when they woke up!
A few days later Barry took the kids with Charles and his family, Grandma Jenks, and Ammon and Nolan to go sledding up near Pomerelle. There wasn't much snow, but they still had a lot of fun. We had a wonderful time visiting family, but were exhausted and glad to make it home a week later.
