For Halloween this year Warren was a bad guy from Star Wars, Sawyer was Scott Sterling from Studio C and Miles was the Awkward avoidance Viking from Studio C. Clara also dressed up as a cowgirl. All of the kids wanted to be with friends this time, so Barry and I made over 100 sourdough spudnuts to hand out. Our neighbors had cider so it was fun to see our little part of the neighborhood get some more people here. It was awesome!

Scary Hill
We spent a fun night at Scary Hill thanks to Clara's employee discount. We did the tractor ride, the maze, the rock climb, the ball blasters, and mini golf.

October
October was a pretty busy month. Clara was sworn into the Kaysville Youth Council.
Miles went to a birthday party at Cherry Hill.
We hiked up Adams Canyon in between conference sessions.
Windridge had a color run, which was fun and messy.
Miles went on a hike with Barry at the young men.
Miles spent a lot of evenings looking for the neighborhood stealing pumpkin.
Shari and Jeni took the boys to a straw maze while we were in Florida.
Sawyer had the 6th grade olympics.
I took these guys to the Fable Forest at Nicholls (you walk a trail and listen to people act out fairy tales). Barry went to a BYU basketball game with Charles that night.
Sawyer made bursting bobas for a science experiment.
And he made one of the wonders of the world at school.

Fall Sports
For six weeks every fall and spring, we are extra busy with sports. All 4 boys played soccer and Sawyer played flag football. It's pretty awesome to watch them improve and score goals and touchdowns and play well on their teams. Miles also started jump rope.
Quinton played rugby 7's this fall and things were going well until he got a cleat to the face in the semi-finals. He broke the orbital bone below his eye and had to take some time off from impact sports after that.
Running club was awesome this fall. We had over 150 kids come and run. I'm pretty proud of how the program has grown and I enjoy being over it even if it is a little chaotic.

Florida Part Two
We spent a full day in Key West on a water adventure tour. We jet skied, played on the inflatables, kayaked, and best of all went parasailing. It was windy, but the water is so warm and beautiful there. We ate the key lime pie there and it was amazing.
We ended the day with the sunset at Bahia Honda.
Our last day in Florida we spent exploring a fruit stand and flea market.
We ate the best food at a little Puerto Rican place on the side of the road called Sabory by Salvi Cafe.
Barry and Quinton tried fishing again, this time in a kayak and with snorkels at John Pennekamp State Park. It was a really great trip and I'm glad we could spend the time with Quinton before he flies the nest.
