Quinton's First Dance

Quinton was asked by Sienna to the Snowball. It was fun to see him dress up and go on his first date. She even came and picked him up at the church where Miles was having his birthday party so I could see them off. They did a day date a couple weeks before and made gingerbread houses. The day of they had dinner, went to the dance, and hung out afterward.

 

November

In November:

Barry spent a day fishing at Strawberry Reservoir.

Warren did a rock candy science experiment for school.

Miles made his own game and experiment.

Sawyer had a glowing reading party and went to the planetarium.

He also got an awesome hand in Apples to Apples. 

Clara and I wore matching Scottish skirts Jeni gave us when we taught a Young Women's lesson.

Miles was hard to get up for school because he sleeps like a rock sometimes.

We went to the super cold, super busy, and super awesome Christkindlmarkt (German Market).

 

Thanksgiving in Oakley

We went to Oakley for Thanksgiving this year. It was SNOWY! But we still ran a Turkey Trot with a few cousins in Paul. Warren and Sawyer got 1st and 3rd in their age group and won scooters! 

Clara made a delicious pie and we played and relaxed. On Friday Barry took the kids into the mountains for tree hunting and I drove to Pocatello to spend time with my mom and sisters and celebrate Shari's birthday.

 

Tree Hunt

Barry took the younger four kids to the Uinta Mountains and got a great Christmas tree this year. They also had a blast playing in the snow!

 

Reflections

Warren, Sawyer, and Miles made some cool art for the Windridge Reflections contest this year. The theme was "I am Hopeful because..." Miles drew a picture of his family. Sawyer did clay and crayon art of people taking care of the Earth. Warren made a clay camping scene on wood.

 

Quinton Turns 16!

Wow, Quinton is 16! It's so weird to see him growing up and doing things like going to the gym, getting asked to dances, and DRIVING! A lot of his birthday was his trip to San Francisco, but we also went to Olive Garden on a date and played football as a family. His birthday was on Sunday, but we went on Monday and he got his driver's license! Quinton is smart, funny, and we are super proud of who he's becoming.

 

Wild Rose Hike

The weather stayed nice so we went on a hike to Wild Rose Trail. Quinton was sick, but it was nice for the rest of us to get out.

 

October

Other October news included Quinton getting asked by Sienna and answering her for the Snow Ball in December. It will be his first dance!

Warren caught a fish.

Clara got new glasses.

Warren did a science experiment.

Miles went on a run with me.
