February

Fun things in February: Barry took the kids skiing (Warren learned this year). Miles and Sawyer got to go to McDonald's and make slime. The boys chowed down on an artichoke. Clara went to a jump rope workshop in Logan. Sawyer and Miles made slime. Warren and Sawyer had fun at church activities. Barry did a huge service project with his seminary.

Running with The Launch Team

We began running in February to prepare for a half in Las Vegas with the Launch Team. It's so fun running together! We ran up to the U one Saturday. It's really tough, but awesome.

Quinton Plays Ball

Quinton played Jr Jazz for Kaysville this year, but he also joined a team of friends to play in Farmington. They ended up winning the championship!

Christmas in February

We gave the kids some "experiences" as Christmas gifts and cashed them in one Saturday. The boys went to an NBA All-Stars event while Clara and Miles painted at the art place.

January

January is probably the calmest month at our house. After the chaos of the holidays sometimes it's nice to just take things a little slower. We did keep pretty busy, though. Quinton was ordained a priest. We went sledding. Clara made a cool puzzle thing for the bookcase. We ice skated and arm wrestled and ran with the Launch Team. And Clara finished off the month with an oboe recital!

Fun With Grandma

Grandma watched the kids while we were in New York and spoiled them, of course. They went to the aquarium, out to eat, and made dirt pudding.

New York City Day 3

Jeni and Nolan left before us the last day, so Barry and I explored on our own. We ventured out to Katz's Delicatessen, The Museum of Modern Art, The Plaza Hotel, and back through Central Park again. We tried as many New York foods as we could - pizza, Chinese food, cheesecake, a bagel, and more that I can't even remember. It was sad to go home, but I don't think we could have walked another day!
