November

November involved Sawyer putting on nearly every item of clothing he owns. Playing in leaves. Going to Kristyn Steele's 80's birthday party. A BYU game with friends. Quinton being sick. Sawyer being a scientist. Playing basketball in the driveway. Reflections for Warren and Sawyer. Fun at school for Warren and Barry. Eating at Pace's after volunteering at the food pantry. And a cardboard slide I built for Miles.

 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving ended up at our house/church down the road this year with the Jenks. It was so fun that everyone was able to come except for Joe. We decided to start the day off with a bang and a turkey trot, so we set up a 5K and 1 mile course in our neighborhood. It ended up being a blast. Dinner was delicious even though the onions made me cry (hence the sunglasses). It was nice to be with so much family again.

The day after Thanksgiving we met Amy and Jared in the Uintahs to get a Christmas tree. Not enough snow for sledding up there, but it was very pretty.

 

Visitors

We were so happy to have Charles and Carolyn come stay with us again for Thanksgiving. (Miles asked if they would be coming for Christmas and Valentine's and Easter, too haha.) I stayed home with Miles and Callie while the rest of them went to a BYU basketball game.

 

Concert With Sisters

I escaped to Idaho to celebrate Shari's birthday with her and Jeni. We shopped, ate at Puerto Vallarta, and surprised her with tickets to see Nathan Pacheco perform. 

 

Quinton Turns 14!

Look who survived one whole year as a teenager (his parents made it too)! Quinton has such a great sense of humor and always keeps us on our toes. He's a little too smart and his siblings all look up to him. He requested Olive Garden for his date with us, ice cream cake, and games at the arcade.

 

October

Well, October was certainly a big month! In addition to our trips and holidays, Miles played and Quinton could not stay awake during stake conference. :) He also went to The Score concert with Barry, Triston, Connor, and Johnathan. I also took Clara to a book signing by Jennifer Nielsen. Some of us ran a 5K at KJH and won prizes and Quinton and Clara had a Halloween concert!
