Here are some fun pictures from January. I made the kids let me take a picture of them on the first Sunday. Clara is now in Young Women's! Warren is in senior primary, Sawyer is in junior primary, and Miles is in nursery! It's kind of crazy they're all doing their own thing. The kids had fun watching a movie inside the ottoman. My mom and I bought some boats and a paddleboard one day and they magically all fit in the van WITH Sawyer and Miles.

Clara Goes to the Temple
It's crazy to think Clara is in Young Women's now. Turning 11 in December makes her the youngest, but she's really loving it! She was called to be the secretary in the class presidency. We were able to finally take her to the busy Bountiful temple for baptisms. It was so special to go with her.

Ice Fishing
Barry took the kids ice fishing for the first time. They didn't catch anything, but they still had a fun adventure!

January Visitors
It was fun to see Shari and Jeni in January. Barry took the older kids skiing at Brighton for the first time (no pictures) and Quinton and Clara loved it. Triston and Connor went snowboarding with Nolan. Meanwhile, the rest of us hung out at station park, getting soda, pizza, and popcorn. My kids sure love their aunties! On Saturday we went to Classic Fun Center to celebrate Connor's 11th birthday.

Fun in Oakley
While I was in California, Barry took the kids to Oakley to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa Jenks. They kept busy playing games, dressing up, and sledding!

San Diego
I had the most amazing opportunity to go on a trip to California with my sisters to my nephew Steven's wedding. We left New Year's Eve and I had 5 days free of mom duties, the longest time ever! I missed my kiddos, but they were in good hands with their dad and I really enjoyed getting to go on the trip. We went to Medieval Knights for dinner and met my mom and Don and watched the knights battle to the death on New Year's Eve. We spent New Year's Day being San Diego tourists at the Mormon Battalion Site and Old Town San Diego. We took a trolley tour all through the city to see the sites. Rachel even joined us, which was a lot of fun! The best was crossing over the water to Coronado. The wind was crazy! Our hair was everywhere and Shari even lost her sweater. Our last stop was Little Italy for some amazing treats.
On January 2nd, Steven married Krissy Hilton. They had a civil ceremony at a country club and then they were sealed in the San Diego temple. We finished the night with dinner, dancing, and crepes back at the country club. It was the nicest, most beautiful wedding I could imagine being a part of. Krissy is great. They will be good together. We made a stop at a Mexican grocery store while driving that day and I had to get some tamales.
Before leaving San Diego on Friday, Shari, Jeni, and I went to the beach to collect shells and take pictures. We spent that night walking and walking and walking and walking around Las Vegas. We went to a buffet and saw some of the casinos. We drove home all day Saturday, stopping at the Pizza Cart in Cedar City, which was delicious.
