We had fun celebrating Quinton's birthday this year. He is really growing up and near enough to being a teenager to really frighten his mother. After he had breakfast in bed we had lunch at Red Robin and then Elisha and Gage joined us for presents, videogames, and swimming and games at the rec center. It was Miles's first time swimming and he loved it. Quinton is growing into quite a young man. We love him very much!

Baer Creek Hike
We wanted to fit in one last hike before it got too cold so we headed up to Baer Creek one Friday night. We went there last years, but thanks to Miles being on the outside of my body and not in, we were able to quite a bit further. The kids love looking for acorns here. The view of the Salt Lake Valley is incredible!

Halloween
Halloween is the best! The boys were all Avengers and Clara was a cat this year. Miles was the cutest Spiderman ever. we also went to Frightmares with cousins the weekend before and carved pumpkins. Sawyer, Miles, and I went with the Huffs to get free lunch at Dylan's. Our neighborhood really gets into Halloween. They have fires and treats for the adults and the kids get a ton of candy!

Family Vacation to Cedar City and Zion National Park
It was so exciting to go on a vacation with just our family over Fall Break. We rented a house in Cedar City, which allowed to us to spread out. It was really nice. We visited Park Discovery, which was neat. Then we visited a museum that showed a lot of amazing pioneer things. The kids really liked panning for gold. I loved the old houses. That night we all got $5 to pick out something to contribute to dinner. We ended up with Eggos, fruit, noodles, meatballs, yogurt drinks, and pizza bites. We played a lot of games together.
The next day we went to Zion National Park. It was super crowded! We had to wait in line just to pay for our parking spot. After taking a shuttle, we finally made it on a hike. It was really beautiful. We were all pretty worn out that day.
On Saturday we headed home. I got a famous cinnamon roll from Pahoran, Utah. Then we stopped in Provo to go to the Bean museum, which is full of stuffed animals. It was pretty awesome. We finished the trip by seeing Incredibles 2 at the theater.
