April

April was filled with nice weather, lots of yard work and getting dirty, fishing, building a bench, and soccer. Kaysville keeps the same teams together for fall and spring so Quinton had fun playing with the same boys again. He's a great defender! The Kaysville ponds are only 5 minutes from our house and the kids had fun catching blue gill there one evening.

Heather's Birthday!

For my birthday this year, I mostly wanted to relax and go on a hike as a family. We had a blast hiking along the Bonneville Shore Line trail. They spoiled me with wonderful gifts and Twisted Sugar cookies. Yum!

Jordan River Temple Open House

We went to the Jordan River Temple house with quite a few people from Barry's family. It was a fun get-together!

Warren Turns 6!

Warren turned 6 years old! He was spotlighted in class and took Blow Pops to share. (On his poster, he said if he had a wish, it would be for a "never-ending Blow-Pop!). He also had his first ever friend party! We made Transformers masks and rockets, had a treasure hunt, opened gifts, had a hot dog roast, and went to Pizza Pie Cafe as a family. Sure love this kid!

Utah History

Quinton played the role of a Native American for his Utah History program. He did a great job. They sang a ton of songs and he really got into his role.

Swimming and Spring Break

We had a pretty chill Spring Break this year. We stayed home most of the time, but we did go swimming at the Clearfield Aquatic Center and also went to Lagoon for the first time this year. We're so excited to have season passes! The first day was rainy and cold so there were no lines. It was perfect! The kids spent an entire day playing on a mattress "slide" on the stairs and Barry bought a big rototiller and started prepping his garden.
