Constitution Camp

Pocatello has a fun week-long Constitution Camp the kids went to this summer where they learned all about how our government was formed. At the end of the week they had a program where they sang songs. They had fun going with Triston, Connor, and Danielle. We celebrated with ice cream at the end.

Summers Reunion

We were able to meet with some of my Summers extended family this summer in Rexburg for a mini-reunion. It was really good to see some of my Uncle Dennis and Aunt RonaLee's family. The kids had fun getting to know their cousins and riding the carousel and playing at the splash park. Sawyer must have been bored on the ride home because he found a marker and decorated himself.

Independence Day

Independence Day was awesome this year. We went to the parade in Inkom and then headed to Riverdale to meet up with everyone from my family except Steve. We swam at the Riverdale Resort and visited Grandpa Packer. Then we did fireworks with our neighbors and Shari and watched the big ones from our house.

June

We tried to fill June with fun summer activities. Clara went to a dinosaur party for Clark and Kayloni Burch. We ate lunch on the deck. Planted a garden with Daddy. Played at the splash park. Earned brag badges for Play Unplugged. Went to Bear World with Grandma Packer. Sawyer got sick for a couple days and fell asleep all over the house. And the kids found some painted rocks around town.
At the end of June we found out we would be moving to Utah for Barry's work, so things got busy as we prepared the house to sell and had to find a new one to move into!

Oakley Visit

We went to Oakley for a couple days to visit Grandma and Grandpa Jenks. The kids loved the giant dirt pile and getting read to by Grandma. Saturday morning we went fishing up near Birch Creek and though it took awhile, once they started catching fish, they caught quite a few nice ones. The younger kids and I chased monarch butterflies around as well. The picture of Warren crying is because he was worried the fish was going to get away. That afternoon we went swimming at the Oakley pool. We especially wanted Warren to get used to the water since he refused to get in the pool for swimming lessons this summer.
