Halloween

We love Halloween around here. The kids all carved their own pumpkins. Sawyer even got into it.

Warren is making a scared face to match his pumpkin.

Daddy helped Clara make a kitty.

Quinton's had a mean face.

Triston and Connor joined us on Friday night for our ward Trunk or Treat and then they stayed the night.

Clara was a candy princess, Warren a dragon, Connor a ninja, Quinton a blue Lego ninja, Triston was Rocky, and Sawyer was a lion (Quinton's costume from when he was a baby). They got sooooo much candy!

On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Packer and the Bybees joined us and we had fun Halloween treats like these zombie calzones.

Poor Sawyer wasn't feeling good and threw up on Halloween. Good thing he had a nice Auntie to help him feel better.

Family Pictures

Jeni took some family pictures for us at Scout Hollow. It's always an adventure trying to get these guys to smile nicely at the camera.

Zombie Chase Race and Bear World

Rexburg had a fun Zombie Chase race and Jeni talked us into doing it with her this year. Barry and I were survivors and Jeni and Grandma Packer walked as zombies. It was fun to do the obstacles and a little scary getting chased by zombies who tried to steal our flags. At the end I didn't have any flags and Barry had one so I tried to block the zombies to keep him safe. It worked and we made it!

After the race Grandma Packer took us to Bear World. The kids had fun on the rides, at the petting zoo, and of course seeing all the bears!

Worms and Tiaras

Mackayla turned 16 this year! She's such a great girl. And she chose to have a princess tea party with all the ladies in her life so Mackayla and I were so happy to go! There was yummy food, fun games, and a book exchange.

Sawyer was the only man in the house, but he held his own.

Barry took all the other boys fishing during the party and they had a blast too.

Labor Day in Oakley

Grandma Jenks had the opportunity to take a trip to Taiwan this year and while she was gone we went to help harvest and weed in their garden. We taught the kids how to labor on Labor Day. :)

Lagoon

We had so much fun at Lagoon last year, we decided to try again this year. We left Sawyer with Aunt Amy and went the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Grandma Packer made the kids some fun matching shirts. We played hard all day and were plenty exhausted by the time we headed back home. Such fun memories!
