Easter 2012

This year has gone by so fast. It's already Easter and our new little guy will soon arrive. We're excited to see him. We've been filling our time with preschool, house projects, and the usual fun.

We tried fishing by CJ Strike Reservoir yesterday. No fish, but plenty of dirt!

Clara fell asleep on the floor after the church in the middle of crying over and over, "I want my chocolate bunny!" We might need a break from candy for a while.

A New Year

Shari and Grandma Packer came and watched the kids so Barry and I could have a couple days off. They made these cute pajama holders with the kids. Quinton and Clara were very sad when they had to go!

Clara's 3rd Birthday

Our little princess is growing up! We started the day with snowman pancakes...

Opened presents and played lots with them

And finished off with this fabulous donut tower. (We're not big cake eaters so we go for any alternative.) She also got the noodle shells and chicken nuggets she wanted and spent the afternoon watching her new Barbie movie and playing with play dough. We went to a fun place in Meridian on Saturday called Bounce that had bounce houses, slides, and obstacle courses to play on. It was a lot of fun! We love Clara so much and can't believe it's been three years already!

Quinton's 4th Birthday

Our little guy is growing up! On November 12th he turned four years old. He had a Lightning McQueen birthday party with a few of his friends.

We also got to have fun with Shari, Triston, and Connor that day. Quinton got to go to Carl's Jr. and have chicken stars and play in the funland there.

Halloween 2011

We had a fun Halloween this year. We went to our ward party where the kids enjoyed the games and treats. They were on a sugar high for a good week!

Clara and Quinton dressed up as Mater and Lightning McQueen (the Dinoco version) from Cars. I made their costumes out of boxes, construction paper, and lots of glue and duct tape. They were fun, but not the most functional for walking very far. I think they enjoyed them.

I tried to talk Quinton into letting me make Lightning McQueen red because then more people would recognize him, but he told me, "But I want to be blue Lightning McQueen and that's okay because Jesus made him that way." Can't really argue with that reasoning!
