I made the kids go in the yard to take photos for our Christmas card. This was as good as we could get in 30 minutes with low light, haha.

 

Quinton Turns 17!

After we got back from Texas, we celebrated Quinton's 17th birthday. He's a little too close to being an adult. I feel like we need to cram in lots of parenting over the next year. :) 

The highlight of his birthday was having Elisha and Gage come to go with him to a BYU game. 

Quinton is growing up a lot. His hobbies include weightlifting, playing sports, teasing his brothers, adventuring outdoors, and trying my patience. He really is turning into an incredible young man. 

 

Texas Trip

In November, Grandma Decker gifted Quinton, Clara, Warren, and me with a trip to Texas to see Sophie perform in her marching band competition. It was Warren's first time flying and a first real visit to Texas for all of us. Shari, Jeni, Triston, and Connor came too and we stayed with Steve and Tammy. 

Steve drove us around in a big van to see all of the sights! We explored Austin first, going to the bat bridge downtown and walking to some shops and eating amazing tacos and donuts.

Then we went to San Antonio and stayed in a hotel near the Alamo which was really cool to see. We explored the river walk in San Antonio along with the zoo and Rudy's barbecue. We spent a long time watching the best marching bands in the country and they were incredible!
