February

February was short and fun. Here's a few things we did to keep busy.
The boys wrestled.
We tried to get chicks in Ogden and when there weren't any, we had ice cream at the Gandy Dancer Mercantile.
Barry had surgery to fix his deviated septum. He was pretty miserable for a couple weeks.
The boys made fun boxes for Valentine's Day and Warren sang in a lip sync at school.
We had a chopped night.
Quinton finished basketball with his friends.
Clara and I went ice skating with the young women in Bountiful.

Girls' Weekend

Grandma, Shari, Jeni, and Mackayla came to spend a weekend with us in February. We had a painting night, did a virtual zombie scavenger hunt, got pedicures, and just had a blast together as usual.

Miles Loses a Tooth!

Miles lost his first tooth! Actually, the tooth behind it grew in first creating a "shark tooth" situation. He wiggled and wiggled and finally got it out. We were very glad we didn't have to take him to the dentist.

January

Some random stuff from January:
We made stroopwafels and gingerbread houses and cocoa bombs.
Barry ran the Sun Half Marathon in southern Utah with Charles.
Miles played with his friend, George.
The youth had a sledding night.

Oboe Recital

Clara did a wonderful job at her oboe recital this year! She also played a duet with her friend, Clarissa. They played the same numbers for the solo and ensemble judges later in the week. It's not an easy instrument, but she's worked really hard at it!

Logan Trip

We enjoyed a little break in Logan in January. We like the Hampton Inn because it has a hot tub that's inside/outside and we all jumped in the freezing snow. We shopped at the outlet stores and went to a fun gym that was on our Get Out Pass.

Priesthood and Temples

Warren was ordained a deacon in January and given the Aaronic priesthood. It was such a special day! We also had a couple of temple trips with the new young women and young men.
