Quinton and Clara Run Cross Country

Quinton and Clara ran miles and miles and miles this year on the cross country team, all through the summer and fall. They didn't always love it, but they steadily improved and enjoyed some great experiences along the way. I think their favorite part was running with their friends.

Barry & Quinton Go to San Francisco

 

Barry took Quinton on an adventure to San Francisco to a 49ers game. They played and explored for four days and made their way all over the place. They went to the football game, rode bikes over the Golden Gate Bridge, caught some sharks on a fishing trip, explored China town and several beaches. They had the best burger ever at a Mexican restaurant. Quinton seemed to really love all of it.

Tea Time

I went to a tea party again this year with my friend Jennifer. Wadley Farms is so beautiful and it's fun to feel fancy for a day.

 

Michael Vey

Warren has been reading the Michael Vey series by Richard Paul Evans and it just so happened he was in Layton for a book signing for the new one coming out, so we had to go! It was really fun to meet him.

 

Youth Activities

Clara and I went on an overnighter and rappelling in Bear Lake with the young women. It was cool to see them overcome their fears and do something hard! We also did a scarecrow walk and Miles went on a hike with Barry and the teachers.

 

Bear Lake with Family

For Labor Day weekend we stayed with my family in an AirBnb near Bear Lake. We spent a day on the water, played games, and just hung out. It was really nice to be with them like that. We tried to go to church, but they were turning people away from the guest branch because there were so many trying to get in, haha.
