San Francisco Girls' Trip

I had a blast at the beginning of June on a girls' trip with my mom and sisters. On Saturday we explored downtown San Francisco on a boat tour, a bus tour, and a ghost tour. We ate in China town and all sorts of fun other foods near the pier.
The second day we spent in Shari's old mission area. We went to church there, the Jelly Belly Factory, the Oakland Temple, and for a little hike in the woods.
The last day we went back to San Francisco and visited the wax museum and drove around on these little yellow cars to the Golden Gate bridge and down crooked street.
It was a busy few days and we made a lot of great memories. I love these ladies and I'm so grateful to have them in my life to go with on fun adventures.

HillBarry Family

We were asked to take a hillbilly family photo for the Jenks reunion this year. This is what we came up with, haha.

May

May was super busy with school ending and trips and everything. Miles played with Elsie. I went to the Storymaker's conference and got to meet Brandon Sanderson! Everyone made me a fun gift for Mother's Day. Clara jumped rope with her brothers. And spring soccer ended!

Memorial Day

We went to Oakley for Memorial Day. They always do a great job going to cemeteries and remembering ancestors.
When we got home we took Clara on a date to Lagoon and saw the peacocks and ate funnel cake!

End of School

We survived another school year! With the kids having such a busy schedule, I was actually excited for summer break this year. The end of the year was filled with soccer, track, running club, Sawyer did the economics fair, Clara had a band concert, and I helped with Warren's field day. Quinton celebrated with a hike with his friends. Clara has an awesome friend group too. These kids are getting old!

The End of Preschool

Miles had such a fun year at both of his preschools. He was always doing something fun. It's pretty sad to think he's our last one to move on to elementary. I loved watching him sing his songs at his end of year programs. He has learned so much this year! He knows his letters and loves to do math all the time. He played with lots of friends, old and new. At Taylor Tots there was Robert, Elsie, and Isaac. At Apple Tree there was Jaxson and Leo, my sister-in-law Tammy's nephew. He made crafts, dressed up all the time, and grew in confidence over the year. He loved Mrs. Taylor and Ms. Laura & Ms. Aubree.

Barry's Birthday

We sure love Barry. We're lucky to have him as our dad/husband! My nephew Steven's wife, Krissy, made a special gift for me to give him. We also went a little later to see Hello Dolly! at the Hale Center Theater.
