More Fun with Cousins

After the Jenks reunion and Sawyer's baptism, we had a pretty full house for a few days. Clara hung out with Sidra and Grace and then she came back to our house where Cambry and Cora stayed with us along with Shari and Triston and Connor and Jeni and John and Henry and Mackayla and Grandma Jenks and Grandma and Grandpa Decker and maybe even more because it was a bit of a whirlwind. I think at one point we had 18 people staying in our house, which was a record! We played Scum, went to Farmington Pond, and spent a fun day at Lagoon before they had to go home.

Sawyer's Baptism

We're so proud of Sawyer for choosing to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a special day and he enjoyed sharing the day with his friends Lilly and Rachel.

Orvin Jenks Reunion

There was an Orvin Jenks reunion with lots of cousins and Barry's family on his dad's side. We camped at a place called Dingle Land in Dingle, Idaho and also played at Bear Lake. The kids loved the little pond there until they realized it made them all quite itchy. Barry's family is so good about getting together and strengthening family connections. I'm glad my kids get to experience that with extended family.

July

Here are some random things we did in July.
I finished the bookcases in our front room! I took five IKEA bookcases and trimmed them out to make them look built in. I love it.
Warren caught an enormous fish at fishing camp.
We also trained to run in Oakley.
Took the boys to Twisted Sugar.
Clara went to Girls Camp.
I tried to keep the boys busy while everyone was camping and things. We went to Kangaroo Zoo and the rec center.
Quinton also got braces, which means three kids in braces at once!

Cedar Badge

Clara was a brave soul and went to Cedar Badge. She said she liked it, but it was also really hard. From what I've heard, it does sound exhausting! Before we picked her up I spent a couple days with the boys in Rigby. Their favorite part was picking raspberries. We stopped to feed the fish on the way home.
