June

Some shenanigans from June:
Had a day with the girls.
Crazy boys wrestled.
Miles went to summer camp a few times this summer.
Quinton started working at Lagoon.
Barry took Warren float tubing.
We spent a hot afternoon visiting and volunteering for the Old Testament tabernacle site.

We Sold the Lovejoy House!

This was such a momentous event, I had to put it in a post on its own. We finally sold our old house in Pocatello! The market picked up so much the past year that we told our tenants they needed to be out by the end of May. As soon as we could, we started fixing up some things and painting because it smelled so smoky. :( But we got it shining. And we ended up not even putting it on the market because Barry's niece Emily's husband had a friend who was interested and we worked out an offer without realtors. It was such a huge blessing because he even ended up doing some of the work to get his loan approved. After 16 years of stressing over how to take care of this place and what to do with it, we ended up being so blessed by how much we sold it for. And it was just in time before interest rates sky rocketed and we probably wouldn't have been able to sell it again. I spent the last day reminiscing about memories here when the kid were babies and before that when I was an independent woman. I'm glad we're done with it, but it really was where our family's story began.

Wyoming and Midnight on the Mesa

Barry signed up to do a crazy race with Charles where they and Gage and Colby took turns running four miles on a mountain in the middle of the night. They did great and took first but it seemed exhausting! They also went fishing the day before.
While they were being crazy, we had fun with Carolyn and the other kids at the Big Piney rec center, a rock show, the Pinedale rec center, and having a picnic at a lake. The kids loved spending time with their cousins.

Day Camp

I was super excited to go to day camp with Sawyer and Warren this year at Camp Tracy. They did all the fun stuff like boating, shooting guns and arrows, and playing games.

Sawyer Turns 8!

We celebrated Sawyer this year with a day at Cherry Hill with friends, a date at Texas Roadhouse, a stake primary activity, presents, and a Lego cake! Sawyer love to tease, but he's also smart and funny and really good at everything he does. We are so lucky to have him in our family!

For the Strength of Youth

Quinton and Clara were able to attend FSY this year at BYU. Quinton had some friends in his group and Clara got to meet lots of new people. It sounded like a great experience with speakers, dances, and exploring the campus.

Barry and Heather go to Midway

Barry had a work training in Midway. We stayed at the Zermatt and explored a bit, but I didn't get a lot of pictures. It's a really cute town with all of its German architecture.

Barry Runs a Marathon!

After I ran my marathon in March, literally on our way home, Barry's nephew Gage began texting him about running a marathon with him in June. Well, Barry gave in and ran the Utah Valley Marathon. Unfortunately he sprained his ankle during training so it didn't go as well as he would have liked, but he finished and did great!
