Grandma Turns 70!

This special lady turned 70 and everyone came to Idaho to celebrate! We had dinner just the adults at Sizzler Friday night and threw a party for her at Krupp Scout Hollow on Saturday. My mom is such an amazing lady, it was fun to celebrate her! It was nice to be with all of my siblings and nieces and nephews as well. Our younger boys really look up to their older cousins. Clara had fun assembling Grandma's fairy garden with Sophie.

Sawyer Turns 7!

Sawyer is growing up! Barry and I took him out for a birthday lunch at Our Kitchen Cafe and he had pancakes. Then we celebrated with his first ever friend party. We were supposed to go swimming, but the temperature dropped 20 degrees that day so we had a sort of Lego party instead and played games, made pizza, and watched the Lego Movie. The next day we went to the Lego store as a family and stopped at Jungle Retreat on our way to Rigby. Sawyer likes to tease everyone a lot, but he has a gentle heart and is super smart. Our family wouldn't be the same without his sweet spirit.

School's Out

Clara's expression shows more how I feel about summer break than they do, haha. This was her on field day. I helped with musical pies that day and got a delightful sunburn on my feet.
The other pictures are from the last day of school. It was an interesting year with Fridays at home and masks throughout (except the last 3 days!), but the kids handled it really well. They had amazing teachers. It was fun to see Clara at her 6th grade graduation. She'll be joining Quinton at the junior high next year, which makes me a little sad. It's hard to stay little once they leave elementary.

May

May was super busy with end-of-the-year school activities. Here's a few random shots of manicures, art work, a nap in the truck, digging in the dirt, and a visit to the dentist. Clara had lots of fun ice blocking for a young women's activity.

Concerts, Parties, and More

Clara spent all year working at the violin and her concert was excellent! She'll be moving onto band next year, but orchestra was a great learning experience. She also had a medieval feast one day at school, which had a lot of fun activities (they even danced!) They did a lot to finish the sixth grade year off in a fun way!
Clara has been jumping rope and her performance was a lot of fun to watch.
Quinton also did great at his band concert. He really had to put a lot of effort in to learn clarinet and then audition for alto sax and he's learned so much!

Running Club

Clara, Warren, and Sawyer all worked really hard at running club this year. They got 1st, 2nd, and 4th place for amount of miles run (around 150-170). It's fun to see them grow in determination and ability!
