While We Were Away...

While Barry and I were in Manti, the kids were having plenty of fun back home with Shari and Grandma and Grandpa Decker. Grandma took Clara out for pizza. They went to Hogle Zoo and Clark Planetarium. The boys also got some more fishing in. I don't think they missed us too much!

Getaway to Manti

Barry and I had a fun weekend together in Manti. We stayed right by the temple and explored all around. Ate some awesome tacos on the way down (and food all along the way!). We rented a paddle boat on ___ Reservoir, which was a ton of fun. Saturday morning we went on a run which ended up being a lot longer than we planned! We hit some yard sales and stores, which is always more enjoyable sans children. We also had a blast exploring Maple Canyon, which was just a ton of amazing rocks!

Grandma Has a Birthday and Daxton Graduates

We took a really quick trip to Rigby to celebrate Grandma's 69th birthday and Daxton's graduation from high school. Clara and Mackayla made Grandma an awesome soda can cake.

Sawyer Turns 7! And we go camping...

This cute kiddo turned 7 this year! We celebrated with a camping trip to the South Fork Campground and we went hiking around Causey Reservoir. Then we came home for presents and cake (a Poke ball). Sawyer definitely looks forward to his birthday and struggles with the long countdown, but it was worth the wait!

Triston and Connor Stay for a Visit

We had a lot of fun with Triston and Connor visiting for a few days. We went to Cherry Hill, played in the backyard, and the boys loved going to the Kaysville Ponds to go fishing!

May

May was another month of staying mostly home. We had more Sunday dinners from around the world and Clara baked, of course. It started getting warm enough to play in water outside and we started going to Cherry Hill since we have passes there this year. I went with the primary presidency on a walk to deliver ice cream to all the primary children. I didn't think I'd miss church so much, but I do. Especially having our little ones go to primary. Shari came with her boys for a visit.
