August was definitely a hot month. We stayed busy, though. Clara made a cake, we went to Lagoon-a-Beach, Barry helped repair his parent's shed in Oakley, Grandma and Shari came down and we went huckleberry picking, Quinton and Clara got back-to-school haircuts, we swam at North Shore aquatic center in Ogden, and we went to the fun park in Bountiful. Makes me tired just thinking about it! Better take a break for some milk and cookies like Miles.

BYU Utah Game
Barry took Quinton the first BYU game against Utah. BYU lost and they got poured on, but they still enjoyed being there with Jared, Gage, Camden, and Elisha. They didn't get home until 2:00 in the morning, so I even let Quinton skip school the next day! While they were at the game I took the other kids to the farmer's market and to eat pizza at a new park.

Cedar Badge and Family Camp
Quinton and Clara had the awesome opportunity to go to Island Park Scout Camp for a week. Quinton participated in the Cedar Badge program with Triston. Clara went to family camp with Connor. The Bybees and Grandma were on staff to keep an eye on them. They sure were tired by the time we picked them up at graduation, but I could tell they had a good week. We saw Mesa Falls as a family on the way home.

Fun at Home
While Quinton and Clara were at Island Park for Cedar Badge and Family Camp, we had fun together with the younger boys at home. We went to the Treehouse Museum one day. They have a ton of fun exhibits! They loved Pikachu, of course. Warren played Sorry against his stuffed animals. We also went to the park a couple times.
