Basketball

Basketball was fun this year for Quinton with Barry as his coach. Their team did really well and it's fun to see Quinton's skills improve. The other kids complain about going to games, but they usually ended up having a good time, too.

We Love our Grandmas

Grandma Packer and Great Grandma Gardner stopped by to visit for a few days at the beginning of March. They had been traveling a lot to Texas and back and it was so nice to spend time with both of them. They went to Quinton's basketball game, took us to lunch, and did a little shopping.

February

February was a pretty quiet month filled with dentist appointments, dinner with Oliver and Itzel (whose family he baptized in Mexico), basketball, the aquarium, and Quinton and Clara participated in a brain study and University of Utah for some moolah while Barry took the little boys to a birthday party at Sarah's house. 

Logan Trip

Desperate for some time away, we took the kids to Logan in February for a night to stay at a hotel. We had enjoyed eating pizza and swimming in the pool (which was almost as full as the tub in our room haha). On Saturday we checked out the cheese factory, the Pepperidge Farm factory, and the Fat Boy factory before eating lunch at Hu-Hot. It was nice to spend time as a family.

Miles 2 Months

Miles seriously has the most penetrating stare ever. It's been so fun now that he is smiling at us a bit more. He has also been the best sleeper out of our kids, usually only waking mom up once a night to eat.

Daddy Daughter Dance

Kaysville Parks and Rec put on a Daddy-Daughter Dance and Clara was so excited to go with Dad. They had a great time dancing the night away. Barry even got his face painted!

January

January meant going back to school for the older kids, starting Sunbeams for Sawyer, new hair for me, and lots of growing for Miles. We also went to the Classic Fun Center with Shari and her boys to celebrate Connor's birthday. The sad thing is, after we parted ways, they were in an accident near Tremonton and rolled their car off the freeway. Thankfully, they were all okay, but the car certainly wasn't and it was not a fun way for them to end their trip.

Miles's Blessing

Miles was blessed on January 14, 2018. It was such a special day with family. We had a soup lunch before church and visited with everyone. Grandma Packer, Shari and boys, Jeni, and Mackayla came from my side and from the Jenks family there was Grandma Jenks, Bryant, Michael, Ammon, and Nolan, Sarah's family, Amy's family, Aunt Joanne Cook, and her daughter Laura and her husband. For being January, the weather was even nice enough for some family photos.

Miles 1 Month
