Busy in May

With a new baby around, we've kept plenty busy! We love Warren so much and have been adjusting to a new member in the family. Quinton and Clara love him a lot, but sometimes they do ask for some more attention.

My friend Rebecca took some amazing pictures of Warren when he was 11 days old. I never realized the work that goes into these pictures and she did a wonderful job!

The day finally came for our little guy to arrive on April 20th, 2012. Warren Tate Jenks was born at 2:36 pm at St. Luke's in Boise. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 5 oz and was 20 inches long. Everything went really well and he has brought a lot of joy to our family.

Those last few weeks carrying him inside were rough (mostly on mommy), but totally worth it once we got to meet him!

It must be hard coming into this big scary world. Luckily he found his comfort zone pretty quick...

Here's Barry holding him for the first time in the operating room. The nice thing about a scheduled c-section is you check in and an hour and a half later you have a baby! It went so fast it was hard to believe it. I was so excited to have a baby over 7 pounds (he came at 39 weeks, 2 days). I thought he looked huge! We were also surprised to get such a blondie after having kids with dark hair.

I don't think a baby has ever been loved on so much by an older brother and sister. 

We all immediately fell in love with him. He's such a sweetheart. We couldn't have done it without all of the help we got from our family, friends, and the ward! We're finally settling back into a routine and starting in on summer fun.

Easter 2012

This year has gone by so fast. It's already Easter and our new little guy will soon arrive. We're excited to see him. We've been filling our time with preschool, house projects, and the usual fun.

We tried fishing by CJ Strike Reservoir yesterday. No fish, but plenty of dirt!

Clara fell asleep on the floor after the church in the middle of crying over and over, "I want my chocolate bunny!" We might need a break from candy for a while.

A New Year

Shari and Grandma Packer came and watched the kids so Barry and I could have a couple days off. They made these cute pajama holders with the kids. Quinton and Clara were very sad when they had to go!
